Oceanside Dress From Itch To Stitch: Easy Style For Every Day!

I've been making lots of dresses this spring and challenging myself to wear them. So far, I have been semi-successful. I'm finding it really tough to get dressed every day knowing I'm going to spend it sitting in front of a computer working at home. I'm really not sure how the Housewives of Bygone Days dressed up every day to clean the toilet and wash dishes. It seems like so much effort when I can hang out in my comfy jammies and use that primp time for sewing instead.

Naturally, my solution is to make some secret pajama dresses for those days when you just want to put your hair in a clip and look cute. Oceanside Dress from Itch-To-Stitch Designs is new today and definitely fits that Easy Style requirement. Pattern Details Oceanside is a knit dress with short, raglan sleeves, a fitted waist and a flirty half circle skirt. It's an incredibly comfortable and versatile style that looks great with everything from sneakers to tights & boots!

Beausoleil Top and Dress From Itch-To-Stitch Designs

I don't really pay much attention to fashion trends and I don't often feel the pull to try them out. The "Cold Shoulder" style was never really on my radar... But after testing Beausoleil from Itch-To-Stitch Designs, I'm looking at these fun peek-a-boo shoulders with whole new eyes.

From what Google tells me, the cold shoulder trend is an evolution of Brigitte Bardot's signature "off the shoulder" style from the 50's and 60's. Personally, I find the cold shoulder look to be much more wearable: It's interesting, flattering on most women, age appropriate at just about any number and it's both modest and sexy at the same time.  Pattern DetailsBeausoleil is both a dress and a top meant for woven fabrics. It features A, B, C, D and DD cup sizes plus, as always, the downloadable file is formatted with PDF layers so you can print only the size(s) relevant for you.

Additional Design Features include:- Cold Shoulder Kimono sleeves with cuffs.  - …

Lago Tank: A New FREE Pattern From Itch-To-Stitch

What could possibly be better than another Itch-To-Stitch pattern release?  When it's FREE, of course!

I tend to Google-research just about any new pattern I purchase, even the free ones. I like to know what I'm getting into before I get started. Most of the time I end up passing on the free patterns because so many reviews indicate fit issues. Is a free pattern really worth it when you have to redraft the armhole, move the dart, adjust the angle of the straps, do an FBA, and, and, and. Not for me. I have better things to do, and prefer to start with a well drafted base, even if I have to pay for it.

I'm so happy to tell you that with Lago Tank from Itch-To-Stitch, you get the best of both worlds. A thoroughly tested, precisely drafted, well instructed pattern that is FREE.

There were about 30 of us selected to help test the drafting and instructions for Lago Tank. We spent a week working and refining, and near the end, a couple new faces were added at the last minute to ensu…
